Georgine Ray, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Ray received her doctoral degree in audiology from the University of Florida in 2003. Her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science degree are from Arizona State University in 1979 and 1983, respectively. Dr. Ray is a fellow and life member of the American Academy of Audiology, where she is active on various committees and previously served on their Board of Directors from 2008–2019. She was also the program chair of the annual convention of the American Board of Audiology and served on their inaugural Board of Governors from 1999–2002. She was a trustee with the American Academy of Audiology Foundation from 2015-2019, acting as their secretary-treasurer from 2017–2019. She is licensed as a dispensing audiologist by the Arizona Department of Health Services and served on their advisory committee for seven years, including a role as chair of that committee.
On the local front, Dr. Ray was president of the Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association from 1992-1993 and has served as program chair of their annual convention. She enjoys precepting doctoral students and is a certificate holder in audiology precepting with the American Board of Audiology. She is also a certificate holder in tinnitus management. Prior to founding Affiliated Audiology Consultants, Inc., in 1991, Dr. Ray worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, ENT offices, and field clinics for Indian Health Services in Arizona.
Dr. Ray’s passion is to assist her patients, no matter their age, to improve their quality of life by listening to their individual needs and bringing sound back into their world.
Amanda McInroy, Au.D
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Amanda McInroy earned her Doctor of Audiology from Arizona State University. Prior to moving to the Valley of the Sun, she completed her Bachelor of Science in speech, language, hearing sciences from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, where she was a four-year scholar athlete. As part of her clinical internship, she spent a year in southern New Mexico at a busy ENT office and audiology private practice where she was trained extensively in diagnostic audiologic testing and hearing aid fitting and programming. Dr. McInroy is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as her dispensing audiologist license in the state of Arizona.
Dr. McInroy’s desire to work in the private practice setting is driven by her ability to provide continuity of care to patients from their initial diagnosis of hearing loss through their individualized treatment plan. Her interests in the field include diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, assistive listening technology, and hearing conservation.
Dr. McInroy is a San Francisco Bay area native, raised in Clayton, California. Outside of the office, she enjoys softball, scrapbooking, country music, and relaxing with her husband, Jeff, and her two rescue cats.
Elaine Slepak, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Slepak earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Arizona; Speech and Hearing Sciences and Special Education and Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Deaf Studies and Educational Interpreting. During her time earning a Master’s in Audiology, she lived on the campus of the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind and worked with elementary and high school students. Dr. Slepak then earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Arizona in 2006. She completed her clinical fellowship in Atlanta at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs with experience in diagnostics, hearing aids, aural rehabilitation, vestibular evaluations, and cochlear implants. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Dr. Slepak was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is married, with two children that keep her very busy. Most of her free time is spent enjoying and cheering on her two little athletes.
Front Office Manager
Nicole has extensive experience in the hearing care field, with several years in a hearing care office in Florida prior to joining our team. She is well versed in hearing aid maintenance and is always hungry to expand her industry knowledge. She chose the field of audiology because she knows she can be a source of welcoming and ease for those beginning their better-hearing journey. She loves helping people and has a friendly, welcoming voice on the phone, so it’s no wonder she won the 2016 Outstanding First Impression award at an industry event!
Nicole loves gardening — getting in the earth and making something beautiful come out is very special for her. She’s also family oriented and always looks forward to bonding at the weekly family dinner at her niece’s house.
Billing and Insurance Specialist
Nicole Viteritti joined Affiliated Audiology Consultants in 2017. With over 20 years of medical billing and insurance experience, she is here to answer all of our patients’ financial questions and tackle the most challenging of insurance billing concerns as part of the Affiliated Audiology Consultants team. She is responsible for all aspects of the billing, along with being a resource for our patients to assist with all of their insurance-related concerns during their experience in our office.
When she’s not working, Nicole is a dog mom of three wonderful pups and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves shopping and, as an Arizona native, is a Cardinals football fan.
