Dr. Amanda McInroy earned her audiology doctorate from Arizona State University. Prior to moving to the Valley of the Sun, she completed her bachelor’s in speech, language, hearing sciences from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, where she was a four-year scholar athlete. As part of her clinical internship, she spent a year in southern New Mexico at a busy ENT office and audiology private practice where she was trained extensively in diagnostic audiologic testing and hearing aid fitting and programming. Dr. McInroy is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as her dispensing audiologist license in the state of Arizona.
Dr. McInroy’s desire to work in the private practice setting is driven by her ability to provide continuity of care to patients from their initial diagnosis of hearing loss through their individualized treatment plan. Her interests in the field include diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, assistive listening technology, and hearing conservation.
Dr. McInroy is a San Francisco Bay area native, raised in Clayton, California. Outside of the office, she enjoys softball, scrapbooking, country music, and relaxing with her husband, Jeff, and her two rescue cats.
